MYTH: A "stack" post promoting 8 tools earns 8x the commission

Everyone writes the "my $5K/mo SaaS stack" post expecting eight recurring streams. The math collapses under its own weight.

Why stacking dilutes more than it multiplies:

— Clicks split across eight links; each tool gets a fraction of the page's intent, so per-tool conversion craters versus a focused single-tool review.
— Eight programs means eight cookie windows, eight clawback policies, eight rate-cut risks, and eight dashboards to reconcile. Operational drag, not passive income.
— Buyers rarely adopt the whole stack. They pick one or two, usually the cheapest, so your high-commission picks get skipped.
— One tool in the stack gets acquired or sunsets and your post now recommends a dead link, hurting the whole page's trust and ranking.

A deep, single-tool comparison that owns one buying decision out-earns a buffet that owns none.

Verdict: a stack post spreads your intent thin and your maintenance thick.
