Drag-and-drop encourages div soup — stacks of generic boxes with no semantic headings, skipped heading levels, color-picked text that fails contrast, and links that say "click here." The visual canvas hides the broken DOM underneath because it looks fine to a sighted mouse user. Screen-reader users and an increasingly active wave of ADA litigation don't care how pretty your editor was. Accessibility isn't a plugin you add later; it's structure you can easily skip in a builder.
