Heard: a lot of "agency tools" are the same engine in a trench coat
Quietly, several agency-branded social suites are white-labels riding on one underlying publishing platform's reseller program. Same API, same limits, same outages — different logo and a markup. When the upstream has a publishing hiccup, a dozen "different" tools go down together.
Why it matters: if you're picking an agency platform, find out whose pipes it actually runs on. If three competitors break at the same minute, you've found the real vendor — and your negotiating leverage is with them, not the reseller.
