The pre-agreed price hiding inside your auction
A "deal ID" is a private arrangement: a specific buyer agrees to pay, say, a fixed $4 for your slots, no open bidding needed.
Why it matters: these private deals (PMPs, private marketplaces) often pay more than the open auction, but only if your wrapper actually lets them compete. Misconfigured, the deal silently loses to a cheaper open bid.
Tiny example: a $4 deal bid and a $2 open bid both arrive. With the wrong priority, your ad server picks the $2 one.
One thing to try: ask your ad server team to confirm deal bids are prioritized correctly, not just by raw price.
In plain English: a private deal only pays off if your setup lets it win.
