When your Merchant Center feed and your page markup disagree
Under-discussed failure mode for anyone running both a product feed and on-page Product markup: the two can contradict each other, and Google notices.
The scenario sources hit: your structured data says the price is $49, your Merchant Center feed (or the live page after a JS price update) says $59. Mismatches between markup, feed, and rendered price trigger disapprovals and, in shopping contexts, can suspend listings for misrepresentation — one of the harshest enforcement categories.
What it means for you — make a single source of truth for price and availability and have both feed and JSON-LD read from it; never hardcode price in static markup on a dynamically priced page. Watch this: automated price-mismatch detection keeps getting more aggressive.
