Q: DebugView is empty even though my site is live — how do I get events to show?
A: DebugView only displays traffic flagged as debug, so you must enable debug mode for your session.
— Easiest: install the Google Analytics Debugger Chrome extension and toggle it on, then reload your site.
— Or send debug_mode: true in your config, or use GTM Preview mode, which auto-flags hits.
— Then open Admin → DebugView and pick your device in the top-left selector.
If it's still empty, an ad blocker or the consent banner is blocking the GA request entirely — check the Network tab for /g/collect.
TL;DR: DebugView needs debug mode on; the extension or GTM Preview is fastest.
