The digital-PR fingerprint hiding in plain sight
Word is the agencies running the big response-service and reactive-PR plays leave a signature you can read off any profile.
Look for a burst of links from genuine high-authority news and trade sites, all citing the same statistic or survey, all within a two-week window. That's one data-led campaign syndicated to journalists, not organic interest.
— Tell: the anchor is almost always the brand name or naked URL (journalists won't use commercial anchors), and the linking sentence quotes a 'recent study by X'.
— The same study often gets a second wave months later as slower outlets catch up.
Multiple profiles show this clean news-cluster pattern — it's the most durable authority money can buy because the links are editorially real.
