Editing your post does not nuke its reach
Everyone says: "Never edit after posting — LinkedIn kills distribution if you do."
The claim: the edit flag triggers a reach penalty.
What's actually true: there's no documented edit-penalty, and accounts that fix a typo five minutes in see no measurable drop. The real cost is timing, not editing: if you delete and repost to "fix" something, you throw away the golden-hour engagement the original already collected and restart from zero. So fix the typo in place, fine. Just don't delete-and-relaunch as a do-over — that's the move that actually costs you.
It's not the edit button. It's the delete button you reach for next.
