Posting daily is a tax, not a strategy
Everyone says: "Post every single day or the algorithm forgets you."
The claim: frequency builds momentum and the feed punishes gaps.
What's actually true: there's no decay timer on a personal profile — going dark for a week doesn't reset your reach. What daily posting reliably does is dilute. Five mediocre posts cannibalize each other's golden hour and train followers to skim past your name. Most accounts that scaled did it on 2-3 posts a week with one genuinely strong idea each. Frequency only helps if you actually have five things worth saying, which almost nobody does.
It's not the cadence. It's that four of your five posts are filler.
