Everyone says: "Flip on Creator Mode and the algorithm boosts your distribution."
The claim: the toggle unlocks favored treatment.
What's actually true: Creator Mode (now mostly folded into the default profile) only changed UI — it swapped your Connect button for Follow and surfaced hashtags and featured content. It never touched ranking. LinkedIn confirmed this directly. People who turned it on and grew did so because they also started posting consistently at the same time and credited the toggle. Correlation wearing a costume.
It's not the switch. It's the work you started the same week you flipped it.
