The zoom-punch, the whoosh, the random b-roll every 4 seconds, your audience's brain filtered them out three videos ago. A pattern interrupt only interrupts if it breaks <i>your own</i> established rhythm, not the generic YouTube rhythm everyone copied from the same three editors.
Novelty is relative to <i>your</i> baseline. If everything is a spike, nothing is.
