The zoom-punch, the whoosh, the random b-roll every 4 seconds, your audience's brain filtered them out three videos ago. A pattern interrupt only interrupts if it breaks your own established rhythm, not the generic YouTube rhythm everyone copied from the same three editors.
Novelty is relative to your baseline. If everything is a spike, nothing is.
