The teams who never get a Search Console error spike aren't lucky — they validate in CI, not in production. Here's the pipeline gate worth stealing:
— Render the page template in CI and extract every JSON-LD block from the output
— Run each block through the Schema Markup Validator API or a local JSON-LD parser for syntax
— Assert required fields exist per @type with a schema-shape test, not eyeballing
— Fail the build if a required property is null or the @context is wrong
— Snapshot-test the markup so an unrelated template change can't silently mangle it
What it means for you: catching a malformed offers block in CI costs minutes; catching it in the enhancement report costs weeks of recrawl. Watch this — as sites templatize schema, markup regressions behave exactly like code regressions, and the same discipline applies.
