Google delists job postings the moment they look stale, and the most common cause is a missing or past validThrough. As of this week, expiry hygiene is the single biggest lever for staying in the jobs box. Run this loop:
— Set validThrough on every posting in ISO 8601 — undated jobs get aged out aggressively
— When a role closes, either remove the page (410) or mark it expired, don't leave it live
— Keep datePosted honest — backdating to fake freshness is a flagged pattern
— Ship hiringOrganization, jobLocation, and employmentType as non-negotiables
— For removed jobs, confirm the URL returns 404/410 so Google drops it cleanly
