Everyone says: "The algorithm changed last week, reach is down for everyone."
It says that every week. Build a vetting routine so you stop rebuilding your whole strategy on a rumor:
— Source check: is it a LinkedIn engineer, or a coach selling the fix to the panic he started?
— Pull your own 28-day reach. Personal dips usually trace to a bad week of posts, not a platform memo.
— Ask three peers in your niche for their numbers. One person's drop is noise; a correlated drop across accounts is signal.
— Wait two weeks before changing anything. Most "changes" are variance that reverts.
React to your data, not to the loudest thread.
It's not the algorithm that changed. It's that fear sells faster than measurement.
