Rescue zero-volume keywords the tools wrote off
"Zero volume" often means "below the tool's rounding floor," not "no demand." We tested 600 zero-volume terms and 38% drove real clicks.
— Step 1: pull terms tagged 0 or 10 volume
— Step 2: check Search Console impressions for any that already appear
— Step 3: group them ▇▇▇ 38% had real impressions, ▇▇ 62% truly dead
— Step 4: cluster the live ones into existing pages, don't build new
— Step 5: measure as a batch, not per-term
The so what: 228 "dead" terms added a combined 1,900 monthly impressions once folded into existing content. Tools round small numbers to zero.
Benchmark of the week: roughly 1 in 3 zero-volume terms shows real impressions in Search Console.
