Short hold time can cost you more than long hold
Myth: pick the network with the lowest hold (days a network keeps your money before release).
Data (n=29 networks, same vertical):
— Hold ≤7 days: chargeback clawback after payout 11% of paid leads ▏▏▏▏▏
— Hold 21–30 days: post-payout clawback 3% ▏▏
Fast release means the network pays before fraud/refund data matures, then claws it back from your next invoice — sometimes after you've already spent it on media.
Read: a longer hold that filters bad leads pre-payout beats a short hold that reverses them post-payout.
