Myth: check the dashboard hourly and react
Watching numbers all day feels responsible. But reacting hour-to-hour usually leads to bad calls. Let's ease that anxiety.
Early data is noisy. In the first hours, results swing wildly, two sales then none, a scary cost then a cheap one. Acting on that noise means pausing things that would've worked and panicking over normal ups and downs.
Good decisions need a fair sample.
Calmer rhythm:
— Give a new ad group at least 2 to 3 days and a batch of conversions before judging
— Check once a day, not once an hour
Try this: pick ONE time each day to review, then close the tab. Don't worry if a number looks ugly at noon, give it the full day. Patience is your quiet superpower here.
