PLAYBOOK: Choose quote-post vs reply to maximize spillover
They route reach differently — pick deliberately:
— Use a reply when you want to ride the original post's thread and surface to its existing readers
— Use a quote-post when you want the conversation on YOUR timeline, exposed to YOUR followers
— Quote-posts of much larger accounts can pull spillover but compete with their native replies
— Don't quote-post just to add 'this' — low-effort quotes get minimal distribution
— For affiliates: quote-post your own value thread to resurface it; don't quote a big account just to attach a link
Confirmed: quotes distribute to your audience, replies to theirs. Rumored: relative boost sizes. Match the format to whose audience you actually want — that's the whole decision.
