Per their licensing page, n8n ships under the Sustainable Use License, a 'fair-code' model. You can self-host free, but you can't offer it as a competing hosted service or white-label it commercially without a deal.

What we're hearing in automation circles: agencies building client workflows on self-hosted n8n are fine, but anyone planning to resell 'automation-as-a-service' on top of it is in a grey zone.
