Turning on Rich Pins added $0 to her budget and 30% to her clicks
A Shopify candle seller had decent reach — 90,000 monthly impressions — but a 0.6% outbound click rate. Pins looked fine; people just weren't tapping through.
She validated her product markup and enabled Product Rich Pins, which pulled live price and 'in stock' status onto every pin. No new content, no ad spend.
Over the next eight weeks outbound clicks rose from roughly 540 to 720/month — about a 33% lift on identical traffic. The live price acted as a qualifier: people who clicked already accepted the price, so her on-site conversion rate also ticked up from 1.4% to 1.9%.
The metadata did the pre-selling.
Takeaway: Rich Pins don't grow reach, they grow click-quality — fewer tire-kickers, more buyers.
