Quiet truth — for some surfaces (personal IG, certain TikTok formats, Stories) platforms never opened a real publishing API, so tools fake it with "reminder" notifications or unofficial workarounds that break constantly. Your "scheduled" post is really a push notification telling <i>you</i> to post.
Why it matters: before paying for a channel, check whether it's true API publishing or notification-based. The difference is whether your 7am Reel goes out while you sleep — or doesn't.
