Q: Leads are getting rejected for geo mismatch. How do I diagnose and fix it?
A: Geo mismatch means the claimed location and the detected location disagree. Walk it:
— Step 1: Compare the lead's stated country vs the IP-resolved country, side by side, on rejected leads.
— Step 2: If they rarely match, suspect proxy or VPN traffic from a sub-source. Run a sample through an IP intelligence check.
— Step 3: Check your targeting setup. A misconfigured campaign sending US offers to mixed-geo traffic creates mismatches you caused.
— Step 4: Look at language/timezone signals. A 'US' lead browsing in another language at a foreign-timezone hour is a tell.
— Step 5: Isolate by sub-ID. One source is usually routing through the wrong region.
— Step 6: Tighten geo-targeting and re-test before scaling.
Short version: compare stated vs IP geo, check for proxies, fix your targeting, isolate the sub-ID.
