Myth: posting for a brand means they can use it anywhere
Many assume once you post a sponsored piece, the brand automatically owns it for ads. Posting and ad rights are two separate things you price separately.
Usage rights = permission to reuse your content in their paid ads, site, or emails.
Why it matters: without a granted right, your sponsored post lives only on your feed. Ad use is an extra you can charge for.
Simple example: $500 to post. They later want to run it as a Facebook ad — that's a new fee, often 30-100% on top.
Your move: in your quote, separate "content fee" from "usage fee," so ad rights are a clear add-on, never a freebie.
