You'll see debates about whether yoursite.com beats www.yoursite.com for search. For rankings, it genuinely doesn't matter. Google treats them as equal.

What does matter is picking one and sticking with it. If both versions load separately, search engines can get confused about which is the real one, and visitors may bounce between two addresses.

— Go to Settings then General
— Make "WordPress Address" and "Site Address" match exactly, both with www or both without
