<b>1 tracking ID per page-type</b>
Most affiliates run a single tracking ID and fly blind. Amazon gives you up to 100 free tracking IDs — each one is a separate revenue ledger in the report.
Segment by ID, then read EPC cleanly:
— review-pages-01 → buying-guide content
— roundup-01 → 'best of' lists
— sidebar-01 → site-wide widgets
— email-01 → newsletter links
Real split (n=30 days): roundup-01 EPC $0.39, sidebar-01 EPC $0.04. Same site, 10x gap — invisible under one ID.
So what: assign a tracking ID per content type before you publish more. You can't reallocate effort toward what you can't measure separately.
