<b>The Silent Member Rescue Protocol</b>
Most communities lose members who never said a word — they just stop opening the chat. Run this monthly to recover them before they churn.
A SOP (standard operating procedure = a written, repeatable process) for re-activation:
☐ Pull everyone with 0 messages in 30 days but who joined in the last 90
☐ Segment by entry source (ad, referral, organic) — sources behave differently
☐ Send one DM with a specific ask, never "how are you finding things?"
☐ The ask must be answerable in under 10 seconds (one tap or one word)
☐ Tag responders as "reachable", non-responders as "cold" after 7 days
☐ Cold members get one final value drop, then exit the rescue list
The trigger is silence, not complaints. Complainers are engaged; ghosts are the real leak.
