<b>Advantage+ Shopping (ASC) lifts incremental ROAS ~14% over manual — but only past a spend floor</b>
ROAS = revenue / ad spend. Incremental = sales that would not have happened without the ad.
Geo-holdout reads, 28 accounts, 90d:
— ASC incremental ROAS: median 2.9x vs manual 2.5x
— Edge only appears above ~$15k/mo per account
— Below $5k/mo: ASC and manual statistically tied
— Existing-customer cap left at default 100%: platform ROAS inflated ~22% from retargeting your own buyers
The default cap is the trap. Set existing-customer budget to 20-30% if you want ASC to actually prospect.
Read: ASC earns its premium at scale and only after you cap the customer mix.
