Touch 1 (Day 0): Subject names their page. Body: "Link to [resource] in paragraph X returns a 404." One screenshot. No pitch yet.
QA gate: did they reply or fix it? If fixed without your link, close.
Touch 2 (Day 4): Soft suggest your replacement as the fix. One sentence.
Touch 3 (Day 9): Final value-add — offer an updated stat or a second resource. Then stop.

— Automation fits in scheduling and merge fields; the dead-URL proof must be verified manually per send.

Definition of done: every prospect receives at most 3 touches, each logged with timestamp and outcome (fixed / linked / dead / unsubscribe).
