Something breaks: a blank page, a feature stops working. Before panicking, there's a reliable detective trick: turn plugins off one by one.

Why it works: most problems come from one plugin clashing with another or with an update. Deactivating just pauses a plugin, it deletes nothing, so it's completely safe and reversible.

How to do it:
— Go to Plugins, deactivate them all at once.
— Check if the problem is gone. If yes, the culprit is among them.
— Reactivate one at a time, checking after each, until the trouble reappears. That last one is your guilty plugin.
— Locked out entirely? Rename the plugin's folder using your host's File Manager to force it off.
