Never push 50,000 URLs in one night.

— Step 1 (Ops): Ship wave 1 = 1% of the set or 500 URLs, whichever is smaller. Gate: don't proceed until wave 1 indexes and holds.
— Step 2 (SEO): Wait one crawl cycle. Read Search Console coverage and average position on wave 1. Gate: mass 'Crawled — not indexed' → stop, fix template, don't widen.
— Step 3 (Ops): Wave 2 = 10%. Re-check indexation ratio and impressions per URL. Gate: indexation ratio below your floor → halt.
— Step 4 (SEO): Confirm no cannibalization between new pages and existing money pages. Gate: rankings drop on core pages → rollback the overlapping segment.
— Step 5 (Ops): Only then release the remainder, throttled via sitemap batches.

Guardrail: every wave has a documented rollback (sitemap pull + noindex) ready before it ships.

Ship gate: don't publish until all boxes are checked.
