Stole this from a writer I hired. No more guessing what to cover. My brief workflow now:

— Pull top 5 ranking URLs. Paste each into a heading extractor, dump all their H2/H3 into one doc.
— Count which subheadings show up in 3+ of them. Those are non-negotiable sections.
— Grab every "People Also Ask" question, paste raw into the brief as required FAQs.
— Note the LOWEST word count in the top 5, not the highest. That's your floor, not your target.

Writer gets a map, not a vibe. Drafts came back 2x closer to publish-ready.
