Playbook: Wire up IndexNow via Cloudflare in 15 minutes
I ran the no-code route so you can skip the API plumbing.

Setup:
— Cloudflare dashboard, your zone, Cache, Configuration
— Toggle Crawler Hints on (it auto-generates and hosts your key file)
— Verify the key resolves at yourdomain.com/{key}.txt
— Confirm Bing Webmaster shows IndexNow submissions within 48h

What it does well: zero key management, auto-pings on cache purge, covers Bing/Yandex/Seznam in one shot. Free.

Where it falls short: you don't control which URLs fire, only cache events trigger it, and you get no per-URL submission log. For granular control you still need the raw API.

Pros:
— No code, no cron
— Free forever
Cons:
— No submission visibility
— Fires on cache purge, not on publish

Best for: WordPress/static sites already on Cloudflare who want set-and-forget. NOT for teams needing audit logs or selective submission.
