Hotter model photos convert better on dating landers

Myth: "Use the most attractive photos you can find — the chats treat this as obvious."

Unrealistically hot, obviously stock, professionally lit photos trigger the user's scam radar and they bounce — or they convert and immediately suspect they got played, which kills DOI confirmation and rebill survival. The image that maxes raw clicks often mins the quality the advertiser scrubs on.

Profiles that read as real and locally plausible outperform glamour shots on durable metrics: ordinary phone-camera lighting, a believable local setting, an age and look that matches the GEO's median user. A 7-that-looks-real beats a 10-that-looks-stock once you measure past the click.

This is also a compliance lever. Overtly adult or model-agency imagery on a mainstream offer is exactly what trips Meta and Google policy review and gets the account banned. The "hotter is better" instinct optimizes the one metric that doesn't pay and degrades three that do.

Reality: believable beats beautiful on every metric downstream of the click — and the click was never the thing getting paid.
