Add breadcrumbs to your search result
Today's lesson: a breadcrumb — the little path like Home > Guides > This Page shown above a result — replaces the messy URL and makes your listing look trustworthy.
Think of it like a trail of crumbs showing where a page sits in your site.
Here's your checklist:
1. Make sure your page actually lives in a logical folder structure on the site.
2. Add breadcrumb structured data — small code that labels each step of the path — naming each level in order.
3. Show a matching visible breadcrumb on the page too, so code and screen agree.
Google prefers showing this clean path over a long, ugly web address, and it can lift how clickable your result feels.
Try this: pick one deep page and write out its ideal Home > Section > Page path. 🎓
