You forgot to say why anyone should believe you
A reporter doesn't know you. A great answer from an unknown stranger still raises one quiet question: who is this?
Think of it like giving directions confidently — people follow only if they sense you actually live here.
1. Add one short credibility line near the top: your role, and the specific thing that makes you qualified for this exact topic.
2. Be concrete: "I've handled 400+ chargeback disputes" beats "I'm an expert in payments."
3. Keep it to one sentence — this is seasoning, not the meal.
The goal isn't to brag. It's to give the reporter a reason to trust the quote and a phrase to describe you in print.
Try this today: Write your one-line credibility statement for your main topic. Save it where you can paste it into every reply.
