CONTENT DESK: User-submitted codes vs editorial-only
The scale-vs-trust tradeoff on sourcing itself. Per operators.
— User submissions (community posts codes): infinite free content, fresh fast, but a flood of fake/affiliate-stuffed codes that, unmoderated, torch your trust and invite merchant complaints.
— Editorial-only: every code vetted, clean reputation, but you can't cover the long tail and you're slow on flash drops.
Why it matters: We hear the durable model is UGC submission with an editorial gate before publish — community speed, editorial trust. Open-publish UGC sites are the ones getting merchant cease-and-desists over fabricated codes.
