The vignette ad — handle with care
Auto ads' full-screen vignette (shows on page transition) is the highest RPM unit AND the fastest way to tank user signals if it fires too often.
Google frequency-caps it but the default felt aggressive. Couldn't fully control it, so I tested turning it off on my best-converting pages and keeping it on low-value tag/archive pages.

— still milked vignette RPM on traffic I don't care about
Segment it by page value. Test it on one page first.
