Controversial but: you cannot sculpt PageRank with nofollow anymore. Stop trying.
The 2009 nofollow-sculpting trick is dead — Google changed the math. Nofollow a link and that equity doesn't reroute to your other links. It evaporates. You leak it into the void.
People still nofollow their login, cart, and filter links thinking they're "preserving juice." You're not preserving anything. You're deleting it.
If you don't want a URL crawled or counted, the move is to not link it, or to handle it at the architecture level — not to slap rel=nofollow on it and call it sculpting.
Anyone still running internal nofollow sculpting in 2026? Defend it.
