My hook-to-first-line alignment check

A travel creator had strong covers but weak holds, and I found the leak fast. Here's the alignment check. Step one: read the on-screen text of frame one. Step two: read the spoken first line. Step three: if they say the same thing, rewrite one so they say DIFFERENT halves of the promise.

Before: cover text said "Cheapest country in 2024" and she opened with "This is the cheapest country in 2024." Redundant. Retention opened at 50%.
After: cover kept the promise, the spoken line became "I spent $11 a day here and ate like a king."

The result: 3-second retention rose 50% to 79%, the post hit 140k against her 11k baseline.

The principle: don't let the first line repeat the cover. Make them two halves that only complete each other when watched.
