My new posts aren't getting indexed — how do I troubleshoot?

Q: I published 5 posts a week ago and Google hasn't indexed them. Help?

A: Short answer: check, request, then strengthen signals. Longer answer, my checklist:

— Search Console → URL Inspection. Is it "Crawled, not indexed" or "Discovered, not indexed"?
— "Discovered, not indexed" usually means Google deems the page low-priority — improve quality and internal links to it.
— Confirm it's in your sitemap and the sitemap's submitted.
— Make sure no stray noindex tag or robots block snuck in.
— Add internal links from already-indexed pages — orphan pages get ignored.
— Then hit "Request Indexing" once. Don't spam it.

New sites are slow to index. Two weeks of patience before you panic.
