How to fire a partner that never wins
Dead-weight partners still send requests, slowing your page while earning nothing.
The cleanup:
— 1. Pull 30 days of data: how often each partner bid vs how often they won.
— 2. Flag anyone with a win rate near zero who still adds load time.
— 3. Email them once — sometimes a config fix wakes them up.
— 4. No improvement in two weeks? Remove their module from your build.
— 5. Re-measure page speed; you'll usually see it drop.
More partners isn't always more money. Three strong ones beat ten lazy ones.
In plain English: track who bids but never wins, give one warning, then cut them and enjoy the faster page.
