Dynamic Creative vs manual A/B split
Testing creatives — let Meta mix them or split them yourself?
— Dynamic Creative (DCO — you upload assets, Meta auto-combines headlines/images/copy): fast, finds winning combos you'd never build, great for volume testing.
— Manual split (one ad = one creative, separate ad sets): slower but you get clean, readable data on exactly what won.
Pick by goal:
— Want to mine combinations and ramp fast → DCO.
— Need to know precisely which hook or thumbnail drives results for future builds → manual split.
Risk: DCO hides the WHY — it'll tell you a combo won but bury which element did the work. You learn less for next time.
Use DCO to find a winner, then rebuild it manually to confirm what actually carried it.
