SOP: Set Day-Parting and Time-of-Day Routing
Some offers convert only in business hours or local prime time.
— Step 1: Pull each offer's allowed hours from the network terms. Don't assume 24/7.
— Step 2: Convert all windows to the END USER's local timezone, not the server's.
— Step 3: Build active-hours rules per offer; outside the window, route to a fallback.
— Step 4: Handle the timezone of mixed-geo traffic per-click, using the user's geo, not one global clock.
— Step 5: Cover the gap: an explicit off-hours offer so nothing dead-ends at 3am.
— Step 6: Test a click at an in-window and an out-of-window timestamp per offer.
Server-timezone day-parting silently misfires for half your geos. Always localize.
Repeat: re-check offer hours weekly; networks change schedules without notice.
