How to fence your scope in one short doc
Scope = the full list of what's included, and just as importantly, what isn't. A scope fence is how you stop 'just one more thing.'
Write two columns:
— Included: every deliverable, revision count, and the platforms
— Not included: extra cuts, reshoots, ad usage, raw files
Example:
Included — 1 reel, 2 rounds of edits, posted to my feed for 6 months.
Not included — additional edits, ad rights, behind-the-scenes footage.
Attach this to the contract or paste it in the email thread.
Your move: build the 'Not included' column first. Most creators only list what they'll do, then get surprised by what they 'should have' done for free.
