SOP: Set Up Click Deduplication Rules

Double-counted clicks inflate cost and break optimization.

— Step 1: Pick a dedup key: IP + user-agent + offer, hashed together. IP alone over-blocks shared networks.
— Step 2: Set the dedup window. 24h for most CPA; shorter for high-frequency push.
— Step 3: Decide behavior on a duplicate: serve a cached redirect but don't re-fire the postback.
— Step 4: Exempt legit re-clicks (back-button) by keying on offer, so a user trying a second offer still counts.
— Step 5: Log deduped clicks separately so you can see the dedup rate, not hide it.
— Step 6: Replay one identical click twice; confirm second is flagged, not paid.

Track your dedup rate. A sudden spike means bot traffic or a broken pixel upstream.
