How to read your CTR without panic
Today: turning one scary percentage into a friend.
CTR means click-through rate: out of everyone who saw your ad, how many tapped it. If 100 people see it and 2 tap, that's 2 percent.
Here's how to judge it:
— 1. Find the CTR column in your dashboard.
— 2. Compare it only to your own ads, never to a stranger's screenshot.
— 3. For push, anything from 0.5 to 1.5 percent on cold traffic is normal.
— 4. If one creative beats another by double, keep the winner.
Low CTR usually means the image or headline, not you.
Try this: open one campaign and say its CTR out loud as a sentence: "2 of every 100 tapped." Numbers feel kinder spoken plainly.
