Myth: A clean dashboard means clean traffic.
Wrong. Your network hides the rot behind aggregates. Audit a native widget source in 7 steps before you scale a dollar into it:
— Pull last-click sub-ID data, not campaign totals
— Sort widgets by CTR descending — anything above 2.5% on display-style native is a red flag, not a win
— Cross-check time-on-site per widget; sub-1-second sessions are bots or misclicks
— Look at the click-to-install or click-to-LP-load gap; a 60%+ drop = wasted spend
— Map widgets to publisher domains; count how many resolve to MFA junk
— Check device split — a widget that's 95% one OS version is a fingerprint farm
— Blacklist, don't optimize
Allegedly your network already does this. They don't. Who profits when you don't look?
