Playbook: stacking backorders so you actually win the drop
When a name pending-deletes, the registrar with the most catch attempts usually wins. Don't rely on one.
The sequence
— Place a backorder at DropCatch and Dynadot 30+ days before drop date, not the night before
— Add SnapNames or NameJet as a third net for .com names — different infrastructure, more shots
— Note the drop time (ICANN deletes batch ~14:00 UTC for .com)
— If two services catch it, you go to a private auction — budget for that, not just the catch fee
📌 Pick of the day: spreading across 2-3 catchers roughly doubles your odds on contested names for ~$60 total in fees.
Source your drop dates from ExpiredDomains.net's pending-delete filter.
