Finding drops: browse filters vs saved alerts
Two modes of sourcing, and most flippers only use one.
The split
— Manual filtering (ExpiredDomains.net, DropCatch lists): you set TLD/length/metric filters and dig. Good for opportunistic buys.
— Saved searches / alerts (Spamzilla, DomCop, registrar watchlists): the tool pings you when matches drop. Good for a defined niche.
Tradeoff
— Browsing finds surprises; alerts catch your specific thesis without daily grind.
📌 Pick of the day: write one tight saved alert per niche you actually understand. Ten vague alerts is just noise you'll mute.
